ounty Tax Map Parcels 59-2-16 and 59-2-17, as found on Map No. 8 ,
material excavated from the bed of Meadowbrook Road, a highway owned
by licensee and situated adjacent to said premises of licensor, Licensee
will at all times indemnify licensor against all actions , claims, demands ,
liabilities and damages which may in any manner be imposed on or incurred
by licensor as a consequence of_ , or arising out of, any act, default or
omission on the part of licensee or any of its officials , employees or
agents, in connection with the improvement of said Meadowbrook Road pur-
suant to this licensee, This license shall terminate upon completion of
said road improvement or on Decembe.. '31, 1974, whichever occurs first.

Austin-Western Power Grader Model Super 101, to be purchased through
Warren County from State Equipment Corporation of Albany, New York,
pursuant to General 'Municipal Law Section 103 , subdivision 3 , at a total
cost of $36 , 700. 00, all of which cost is to be financed by serial bonds
issued by the Town of Oueensbury pursuant to the Local Finance Law.

RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR HIGHWAY AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS
BUILDING
RESOLUTION NO. 95, Introduced by Mr. Harold Robillard, who moved its
adoption, seconded by Mr. Gordon Streeter:
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has recommended that
we advertise for bids for the construction of -a new building for the
Highway and Police Departments , now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury solicit sealed bids for the work
listed above and that the following notice be published in the official
Town newspapers in the following form:
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Town Board of the Town of Queensbury invites sealed proposals for
the construction of a new building for the Highway and Police Departments
located on the Owner' s property at Bay Road, Town of Queensbury, New
York. Proposals will be received at the Office of the Town Clerk until
7 : 30 p .m. Eastern Daylight Time on April 18, 1974 at which time and place
they shall be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work is to be accomplished under separate contracts ad follows :
General Construction Work
Plumbing Work
Heating and Ventilating Work
Electrical Work
Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined at the office of:
Cushing, Choppa Associates
Quaker Village, Glens Falls , New York 12801
The beforementioned Documents may be obtained upon payment of a deposit
of $50. 00 for each complete set at the office of the Architects , Cushing,
Choppa Associates, Quaker Village, Glens Falls , New York 12801, phone

Full deposit will be refunded upon return of each set of documents in good
condition within ten (10) days after bidding date. Deposits will be for-
feited if documents are returned later than ten (10) days after bidding
date.
Each bidder must accompany his bid with a deposit payable to the Town Board
of the Town of Queensbury in the form of Cash or Certified Check, or a Bid
Bond executed by the bidder as a principal and having an accepted surety
company, approved and authorized by and under the laws of the State of New
York, in an amount not less than five percent (5) of his Base Bid amount,
as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to him he will within
ten (10) days thereafter wxecute such contract and furnish satisfactory
bonds .
No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual
opening thereof.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond in the full
amount of the Contract, covering both Performance of the Contract and Labor
and Material Payment.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to con-
ditions of employment to be observed and minimum rates to be paid under
the contract.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any
or all bids .
