Brennan BP 2014-580 Jonathan R. Brennan has applied for a building permit for a detached garage. Orginally, he had indicated on his plot plan a side setback which would comply to the MDR zoning requirements. This morning, Mr. Brennan stopped in to the office and said he was digging over the weekend and realized he would be too close to his septic system. He revised his building permit plot plan while realizing that he needs to ask for a variance; to be 18 ft. setback from the side property line in lieu of the required 25 ft. Also, as a note of interest, Mr. Brennan's neighbor recently had his own property surveyed and Mr. Brennan believes that maybe his own property may have been surveyed as well (there are new stakes in the ground around his property. Mr. Brennan is going over to see VanDusen and Steves this morning to see if a survey was done. Mr. Brennan will be contacting you later today for a future variance request (pre-appl meeting).
