work in a Highway Police Department Building according to plans

and approved by the Town Board, and
WHEREAS , it has been determined by the Town Board that the bid of
K & J. Electric of Glens Falls, New York in the amount of $91,400. 00
was the lowest of the several bids received by the Town Board and
K & J. Electric having executed and filed a non-collusion certificate
required by Section 103D of the General Municiggl Law as amended,
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Town Beard of the Town of Queensbury, accept the
bid of K & J Electric in the amount of $91,400. 00 and that the Supervisor
be and he hereby is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the
Town Board of the Town of Queensbury with K & J. Electric for the
performance of electrical `cork in the construction of the improvement:

Councilman Streeter reported on the past meetings with Murphy
and Kren noting their assistance with regard to recreation program. . .
Councilman Streeter noted that a meeting with an A.P.A. represenative
Carl Garb and the Town Engineer at the Town Landfil was held. . .The
landfil is partly in the A.P.A. land area and therefore the town will
have to make application to A.P.A. to continue the landfil. . .

-Deputy Robillard urged the public to stop dropping bottles behind
the Queensbury Plaza— the 4 H is no longer picking up bottles
for re-cycling . . . .

in a bad location on his property. . .
Councilman Barber. . .will look into his problem--also noted that
he did not feel that the LaRose clean-up job was satisfactory. . .
Mr. DanalddBovee. . . there are many- dogs in the area and he would
hope that this could be remedied. . .
Deputy Supervisor. . . this will be referred to the Dog Warden. . .
Mrs . -Barber and Mrs . Willis of the League of Women Voters noted
their concern in regard to re-cycling and wondered if the thwn
could operate some type of system as other areas do to re-cycle
bottles, cans and papers. . . thus conserving the landfil area. . .
Councilman Barber noted that the Town has been working on the
problem and sometime within the year a program will be started
in the Town. . .
Mr. Daniel Sweet-noted his dismay at the Junk Yards of the Area. . .
The Board will look into the problem. . .
