LEAD-BASED PAINT HAZARDS Regulations The Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) has issued regulations regarding the ........"Reduction of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in ....... Housing Receiving Federal Assistance." The rehabilitation work called for by these work specifications will be paid for in whole or part with Federal assistance. Therefore HUD's regulations governing the reduction of lead-based paint hazards apply to this project(24 CFR Part 35).
