Staff Notes:
The proposed construction of a 28-foot tall pole barn structure is within close proximity to the Floyd Bennett Memorial
Airport, operated by Warren County.
For the purposes of this review, staff contacted Ross Dubarry, Airport Manager, to discuss potential impacts to the
navigable airways. According to Mr. Dubarry, this address falls within the airport's imaginary surfaces-and pursuant to
FAA regulations the project proponent is required under Federal Aviation Regulations to submit a 7460-1 to initiate an
airspace case analysis for hazards to air navigation. See attached email and link to 7460-1 application from Ross Dubarry
(2-6-2017).
The staff recommends that the Queensbury Planning Board ensures compliance with this requirement.
