Project Description:
Applicant proposes to modify the existing 13 space parking area to increase the area to 24 spaces. Project
requires a buffer between uses that is proposed to be less than buffer section at this time. Pursuant to Chapter
179-9-040 of the Zoning Ordinance, applicant may submit information for Planning Board discussion.
Site Plan Items
The applicant proposes to construct additional parking area for the animal hospital. The applicant has indicated
there are two areas of paved parking that provide about 15 parking spaces. The new area would provide 23
parking spaces. The applicant requests discussion in regards to the required buffer requirements between uses
where the adjoining property is residential. The required buffer is 50 ft and the applicant proposes 10 ft. The
plans do not depict additional plantings or other screening between the new parking area and residential use.
The applicant has provided photos showing the parking area view to the North and East.
The proposed parking area and facade renovations would be subject to site plan and special use permit. The
buffer requirements may be reviewed with the planning board and may be waived for certain features depending
on the site.
Summary
Pursuant to Chapter 179-9-040 of the Zoning Ordinance, applicant may present a sketch to receive comments
and feedback from the Planning Board.
