This documentation, from Queensbury Building Permit file #07-275, includes the following: • Drawing entitled "Wastewater Site Plan" prepared for Steve Johnson by Hutchins Engineering, Revision 1 dated 12/12/06; • Septic inspection reports from Town of Queensbury, dated 5/30/07 and 6/19/07 (2 reports on this date); and • Undated, hand-drawn record drawings entitled"As-Built Absorption Field"and"As-Built Pump Tank Locations" prepared by McKenna Construction. It is proposed to renovate the existing two-bedroom cabin and the number of bedrooms will remain two. Based upon the documentation referenced, the existing system consists of a 500-gallon pump tank, a 1,000-gallon septic tank, and a 15' x 30' pipe-in-stone absorption bed. The system was installed by McKenna Construction in May-June 2007. Based upon my review of the above documentation, it is my opinion that the existing septic system was sized and installed installed in a manner compliant with the current Town standard for septic systems (Chapter 136). 1 trust this information is sufficient for your immediate needs, however, please contact me if you wish to discuss.
