Note:
Queensbury planning department indicated that there was some concern with the placement of light
fixtures and the possibility of glare impacting motorists travelling along Route 9.To address this concern
the project sponsor is proposing that anti-glare visors be installed on the fixtures and the narrowest
available beam have been provided as options (see bottom of page 3).
In addition to the anti-glare visors, the light poles have been placed between the roadway(Route 9) and
the dinosaur display with the lighting angled directly towards the display.The applicant will place the
light poles closer to Route 9 and increase the height of the pole to further mitigate any potential glare
away from Route 9 travel lanes.
