The test was performed to the west of the existing residence in the location where construction of a new leach field is proposed. The residence has an existing failed septic system which will be decommissioned upon completion and certification of the replacement system. TOWN OF QUEENSBURY The results of the testing are as follows: BUILDING DEPARTMENT Deep Soil Test Pit Based on our limited examination, compliance with our comments shall not be construed as 0—11" Topsoil indicating the plans and specifications are in 11 —27" Loamy Medium Fine Sand full compliance with the Building Codes of New York State. 27—72" Medium Fine Sand TOWN OF QUEENSBURY No Mottling or groundwater observed. Percolation Test Reviewed By- Q0 Stabilization percolation rate - 1" in 1 minute, 01 Ye0id L The hole was presoaked and the test was run 4 times until it stabilized with three consecutive runs of 1:00, 1:01 and 1:01 respectively. The design flow for this 3 bedroom residence at 110 gpd per bedroom requires 347 sf of absorptive area. The new replacement absorption system should consist of the existing 1,000 gallon septic tank located east of the residence, a new distribution box, a 20 foot wide by 25 feet long absorption bed (500 sf) with 4 — 20 foot long laterals located to the north of the existing residence.
