11 have reviewed available, documentation describing the installation of the sceptic system at the
referenced property. This documentation includes the following-
A drawing entitled "Pr ovanzano, Residence — Septic Design" prepared by Morse
Engineering, P.C., dated Juily ,21, 1992, with record drawing markups dlated August 6,
19912.
Queensbury buildi'ng permit file x92- ,rhiich includes referenced plan, permit -4,26
and Septic Disposal System Inspection report dated Jull , 24, 1199 2. The inspection report
indicates, the system was installed in accordance with the approved plans.
Based upon the docu mientatio ni ref erenced, the system consists of a 1,250 gallon septic;tarn k a nd
one 201' x 54' pipe-in-stone absorption bed. The system was installledi by Friedman Excavating in,
July of 19,92.
There is, no water supply well an site (lake water supply), and documentation indicates horizontalii
setbacks to the shoreline and neighboring wells are maintained to current standards (100'
absorption field to lake and well, 01' tank to lake and well). 'The absorption bed as, documented
have appropriate absorptive area for a four bedroom house at the current standard.
Based upon my review of the abovedocumentation, it is my opinion that the existing septic system
was sized and installed installed in a manner compliant with the current Town standard for septic
systems (C ha pter I 36).
