1972-05-18 SP Special Meeting May 18, 1972 Members Present: Gerald B. Solomon Supervisor Lloyd Demboski Councilman Robert Barber Councilman Harold Robillard Councilman Gordon Streeter Councilman Harold Katz Town Counsel The meeting was called to order at 5 :15 P.M. with a salute to the flag. ° on the agenda was a bid opening for a new Chip Spreader for the Highway Dept. There was one bid received from the Ken Smith Machinery Co. of Albany, New York. The quoted price was $2725.00 and there was a Non-Collusive Certificate attached. RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID FOR CHIP SPREADER RESOLUTION NO. 92, introduced by Mr. Demboski who moved its adoption seconded by Mr. Robillard. WHEREAS Carl A. Garb the Town of Queensbury Highway Superintendent requested the Town Board to advertise for bids for a new Chip Spreader and WHEREAS, the Town Board did advertise for bids in the usual manner and only one bid was received from the Ken Smith Machinery of Albany, New York the price quoted being $2725.00 therefore be it RESOLVED, that the bid of' Ken Smith Machinery of Albany, New York be accepted. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Demboski, Mr. Barber, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Streeter, Mr. Solomon. Noes None. On motion-<the meeting was adjourned. Respectively submitted, Donald A.
