SHR 1504 FRESH AIR APPLIANCE
Item no. 40072
Description
Airflow up to 149 cfm @ 0.4"PS serves 3-5 bedroom homes
Three speed ventilation control
External dry contacts for quick connection of remote controls
Compatible with Fantech's low-voltage controls
Easy access service door
Application iFantech's side port connection HRV for budget conscious house projects.
How it works
the SHR 1504 unit brings a continuous supply of fresh air into a home while
exhausting an equal amount of contaminated air.During winter, fresh incoming air is j
tempered by the heat that is transferred from the outgoing air so you save on energy
costs, while during summer, the incoming air is pre-cooled if the house is equipped
with an air cooling system. The SHR 1504 is equipped with automatic defrost
mechanisms so you can use your HRV all year long.
Defrost cycle
A preset defrost sequence is activated at an outdoor air temperature of 23°F and
lower.During the defrost sequence, the supply blower shuts down&the exhaust
blower switches to high speed to maximize the effectiveness of the defrost strategy.
The unit then returns to normal operation, and continues the cycle.

BUILDING&CODE
Gentlemen:
For some unknown reason this project has yet to have had the `sign-off for the wastewater system
although it has been in operation for two years. This letter shall serve as the compliance letter for
the wastewater system serving the five-bedroom residence located at 60 Knox Road.
The plans associated with the wastewater system as part of site plan approval for this project are as
follows:
Proposed Site Plan for the Perrotta Residence
60 Knox Rd./Assembly Point Rd.
Town of Queensbury
• Sheet S-1 Overall Parcel/Existing Conditions Plan
• Sheet S-2 Site Plan
• Sheet S-6 Wastewater Details
.On March 23rd of this year I,along with Builder Steve Adler and Contractor Jim Jones, examined the
existing system by accessing the pump chamber and activated the pump system by the float
controls. We had uncovered the distribution box thus were able to witness flow through the force
main up into the d-box. Each of the four outlets to the Eljen GFS trench laterals were receiving flow
from the d-box. I had previously witnessed the installation of the absorption field system when Jim
Jones installed it in 2019. Please note the attached 'As-Built' plan for the wastewater system which
indicates a slight change from the originally approved plan. The four lateral system was configured
using the area of the reserve instead of the original linear configuration. Tie distances to the d-box
are provided.
Based on my observation of the field installation and recent review of the pump operation, including
the, alarm signal, I can say that the system was constructed in compliance with the intent of the
approved design using the materials as specified and in an acceptable configuration as.noted. The
system appears to be operating normally with no indications of any operating problems.
With this engineering sign-off in-place the Town may proceed with finalizing the certificate of
occupancy.
Sincerely,
-Paivlis Mac:Elro4
