RESOLUTION NO. 77 , introduced by Mr. Solomon, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Demboski. RESOLVED, that resolution No. 76 be and hereby is rescinded . Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Demboski, Mr. Austin, Mr. Robillard , Mr. Robertson and Mr. Solomon. Noes : None. RESOLUTION REQUESTING NEW YORK STATE LEGISLATURE TO CREATE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY RESOLUTION NO. 78, introduced by Mr. Solomon, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Demboski. WHEREAS, the New York State Industrial Agency Act amends the General Municipal Law and the Real Property Tax Law to provide for the creation of industrial development agencies to promote the economic welfare of a community and to actively promote, attract and encourage and develop economically solAnd commerce and industry in a community, and WHEREAS, industrial development agencies must be created by special legislative act for municipalities' desiring such agencies, and WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board has recommended that an industrial development agency be created to promote the economic welfare of the inhat.i.tants of the Town of Queensbury and that an industrial develop- ment agency would more effeciently promote the general prosperity and economic welfare of the community, be it RESOLVED, that the New York State Legislature enact.'special legislation for the creation of an indu str h1 development agency to be known as Town of Queensbury Industrial Development Agency, Senate Bill #6179 and Assembly Bill #7252. Chase, Town Clerk RESOLUTION TO PURCHASE SNOW BLOWER FOR THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION NO. 60, Introduced by Mr. Austin, who moved its adoption, Seconded by Mr. Robertson. r WHEREAS, the above-average snowfall in the Town of Queensbury has created a problem of snow removal on town roads , and WHEREAS, the Town Board of said Town of Queensbury deems an emergency situation to exist on said town roads, and WHEREAS, the said Town of Queensbury Highway Department Noes not have a power driven snow blower and loader and the Superintendent of --� Highways has recommended the purchase of such equipment as necessary to remove the, accumulation of snow on town roads and streets, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a snow removal emergency does exist, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Highway Superintendent be, and he hereby is authorized to enter into an agreement with West Mountain Sales, Inc. for the purchase of a Mercedes Benz Unimog Diesel Tractor, Type 406 , 90 hp with a Schmidt type S-3 PTO°driven blower/loader with pre-cutter for hard snow and loading chute 12' -5" with hydraulic turn for a sum not to exceed $17,008,said West Mountain Sales, Inc. being the only supplier able to provide same immediately. Duly adopted the 11th day of March, 1971 by the following vote : AYES: Mr. Demboski, Mr. Austin, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Solomon.
