completed within a 12 month period.
2. If the work is not completed by the 1 year expiration date the permit may be renewed, subject to
fees and department approval.

description of the work proposed, that all work will be performed in accordance with the NYS Building
Codes, local building laws and ordinances, and in conformance with local zoning regulations.

is 2,300 pounds on two 1/2"x 41/2"steel anchors which is acceptable.
4. The racks have been properly installed in accordance with the manufacture;s plans and
specifications.
5. The racks are acceptable and ready for service.
1. The engineer recommends that;
2. Employees who have access to the racks be trained with the;
1. proper operation of the rack loading and unloading equipment,
2. proper placement and removal of materials from the racks,
3. meaning of the posted rack load capacity information,
4. inspection and replacement of any damaged parts of the racks,and
5. compliance with general site safety requirements.
3. With the initial employee training complete,the racks may be placed in service and used as
intended.

The following comments are based on review of drawings:
• Verify location and function of Exit and El fixtures
• Verify locations of fire extinguishers
• Verify path of egress
• Provide details indicating height , widths of racking systems, and I believe
Dave spoke with you about requiring seismic design, This is not shown on
the drawings
• Witness test of fire alarm system as well as NFPA 72 documentation
required
• Provide NFPA inspection report for sprinkler system, as well as letter
indicating current arrangement of system is suitable for the racks and
storage being proposed.
