Regular Meeting August 12, 1971
Present: Gerald B. Solomon Supervisor
Lloyd Demboski Councilman
John D. Austin, Jr. Councilman
Harold Robillard Councilman
Attorney Harold Katz was also present
Hammond Robertson, Jr. was absent from this meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 8 :00 P.M. and opened with a
salute to the flag.
The following visitors were greeted by the Supervisor:
Pliney Tucker Iry Dean
Ed Waters Carl Garb
The Mobile Home applications of John P. Matthews, Ralph Russo
and Joan Combs were tabled for a future meeting.
The Highway Report for the months of June and July, the Building
ans Zoning report for July, the Police Dept. report for July, the
Justice Court Fund for July, the Town Clerk report for July were
read and placed on file.
The Supervisors Report for the month of July showed receipts
totalling $96,836.77 and disbursements totalling $142,358.40.
The Supervisor reported that the Board would be studying an ordinance
against mass gatherings in the upcoming weeks.
Councilman Austin commended the Highway Dept. for its participation
in last weekend' s Clean-Up Day throughout the Lake George watershed.
Supervisor Solomon called attention to the clean-up slated for
Saturday around Glen Lake.
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AUDIT OF BILLS
RESOLUTION NO. 172, introduced by Mr. Demboski, who moved its adoption,
seconded by Mr. Austin.
RESOLVED , that the Audit of Bills as listed on Abstract 71-8
numbered 881 through 1018 , totaling $25,103. 13 is hereby approved.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Mr. Demboski, Mr. Austin, Mr. Robillard and Mr. Solomon.
Noes : None.
