SKY ZONE TRAMPOLINE PARK
SITE PLAN MODIFICATION
ADDED PARKING - 1/15/2018
CORINTH ROAD QUKENSB U RY
The Sky-Zone trampoline park amusement / recreation center on Corinth Road in
Queensbury opened last summer and has quickly been gaining popularity. Use of the
facility has exceeded the owners expectations and as a result additional parking is needed.
An additional 34 parking spaces are proposed on the east side of the entry road which
extends along the east side of the building. These spaces are accessed directly off of the
existing driveway.
Grading of the proposed parking area will be a continuation of the exist driveway and
parking area grade. Runoff from these paved surfaces will sheet flow to the east and will
be collected in the shallow swale which will be relocated to the east edge of the proposed
parking area. This will maintain the existing drainage patterns for the site.
Drainage calculations have been revised to include the additional pavement for the added
parking area. These calculations (copy attached) show that the added pavement for
subcatchments 3b and 4S has no significant effect In downstream drainage structures.
Also, as part of this Site Plan Modification Application, the owner is proposing to locate
a temporary, fabric type structure behind the existing building to store snow removal
equipment. The structure will be approximately 15 feet by 25 feet and will be located
behind the dumpster enclosure.
