WHEREAS, the Adirondack Runners Club has requested authorization from the Queensbury
Town Board to conduct its Adirondack 15k Race to the Lakes as follows:

DATE Saturday, June 30ffi, 2018 commencing at approximately
8:00 a.m.
PLACE Beginning at SUNY Adirondack and ending at Battlefield
Park in Lake George—course partially within the Town of
Queensbury
(Letter and maps depicting course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proper proof
of insurance from the Adirondack Runners Club to conduct its Adirondack 15k Race partially within
the Town of Queensbury as set forth in the preambles of this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.

I have reviewed the request of the Adirondack Runners Club's for the Adirondack 15k
Race to the Lakes, being held on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 8am.
I hereby grant my approval for the race to be held on the following roadways that are
under my jurisdiction: Mannis, Fitzgerald and Birdsall Roads. All other roads that are not under
my jurisdiction my need further approval from the County.

Ms. Hunsinger:
I am the race director for the Adirondack Runners Club's Adirondack 15k Race to
the Lakes, scheduled for Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 8am. Our running club is
requesting permission from the Town of Queensbury, New York to use the town
roads for the purpose of running a foot race. The number of runners will be
capped at 300. There will be 4 water stops along the route, 3 on the bike path and
one at the intersection of Mannes and Fitzgerald Roads.
As requested, the route and logistics of our race is as follows:
Packet Pick Up at SUNY Adirondack College: 6-7:45am on June 30, 2018.
Race Start behind the Student Center, 8am sharp.
Start: SUNY Adirondack College, rear parking lot, Sam.
Proceed to Haviland Road, and take a left.
Cross over Bay Road and continue on Blind Rock Road to the 4 way STOP sign.
Turn Right on Mannes, continue up Fitzgerald, and return to Blind Rock Road.
Take a right on Blind Rock Road and continue to Birdsall Road.
Take a right on Birdsall Road, up the hill and onto the Warren County Bike Trail.
Follow the Warren County Bike Trail to the end, on Beach Road in Lake George.
Take a left on Beach Road.
Finish is on the Battlefield at the intersection of Beach Road and West Brook
Road.
We are in the process of completing the Certificate of Insurance required by the
town, which I will forward to your attention within the next two weeks.
Please advise me of any additional information you need, and I thank you very
much for your help.

Start: Adirondack Community College, rear parking lot, 8am.
Proceed to Haviland Road, and take a left.
Cross over Bay Road and continue on Blind Rock Road to the 4 way STOP sign.

Take a right on Blind Rock Road and continue to Birdsall Road.
Take a right on Birdsall Road, up the hill and onto the Warren County Bike Trail.
