RESOLUTION ADDING "NATURE'S WAY" TO LIST OF
TOWN PRIVATE DRIVEWAYS AND ROAD NAMES
RESOLUTION NO.: ,2018

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 434.95, the Queensbury Town Board adopted a list of names
for private driveways and roads in the Town in connection with the 911 addressing system, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to add "Nature's Way," a private roadway/driveway
located off of Inglee Mountain Road, to the Town's list of private driveways and road names,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby adds "Nature's Way" to the Town of
Queensbury's list of private driveways and roads, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Clerk, Town
Highway Department and Director of Building and Codes Enforcement to take any actions necessary
to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.

The Town is in the process of verifying addresses in your neighborhood. It was
brought to our attention that you enter separately from Inglee Mountain Rd at
the beginning of your driveway. Since Inglee Mountain Rd does not lead
directly to your driveway now we would like you to name your driveway.

By you naming your driveway we can then name the private road off your
driveway that leads to Tim Barbers house with a name that Tim Barber chooses
leading to his house on West Mountain. The name just cannot duplicate any
street names currently in the Town.
This would make the 911 data base more accurate should anyone dial 911 and
request police, fire, or ems.
As soon as you decide on a name for your driveway please advise me in writing
and the Town Board will adopt that name as a private road.
Your street address would change but your street number would stay the same.
Once the Town Board adopts the private road name you can purchase a sign
that meets the Town sign standards to install at the beginning of your driveway.
