Resolutions 1. SEQR 2. Planning Board decision Project Description Applicant proposes a 20 ft. x 20 ft. tent sale for August 2018, 2019 & 2020. Pursuant to Chapter 179-3-040 & 179-9-020 of the Zoning Ordinance, tent sales in excess of a maximum seven consecutive days and more than twice a year shall be subject to Planning Board review and approval. Staff Comments • Location-The project is located at 1500 State Route 9 at the Family Footwear. • Arrangement- The applicant proposes to utilize two parking spaces area on the North West corner of the property. • Site Design- The applicant requests a tent sale operation for August 2018, 2019 & 2020 in the parking lot area of the Family Footwear. • Signage- The signage for the tent is to be 54 sq ft • Site operations- The tent will operate during normal business hours and have no electricity. The application is similar to past tent sales where the board has granted two year operations • Traffic- Two parking spaces are to be used for the location of the tent. The applicant has provide a plan that shows the existing parking arrangement and has indicated customers have access to parking. Pursuant to Section 179-9-050 the Planning Board may grant waivers on its own initiative or at the written request of an applicant. The application form identified as "Requirements" outlines the items to appear on the site plan or included as attachments. At the time of application the applicant has either requested waivers, indicated the item not applicable or has not addressed the item/ left check box blank. This includes the follow items listed under Requirements of the applicant's application: g. site lighting, h. signage, j. stormwater, k. topography, 1. landscaping, n traffic, o. commercial alterations/ construction details, p floor plans, q. soil logs, r. construction/demolition disposal s. snow removal. The applicant had requested waivers in the past application and has noted them as not applicable in this current application for grading, lighting, stormwater management, and landscaping.
