3 Glen Hall Road—Area Variance & Site Plan Submission Revisions
Dear Chairman and Zoning Board Members:
Attached is a Revised Area Variance Site Data sheet and revised site plans for the proposed new
residence at 3 Glen Hall Road on Glen Lake in the Town of Queensbury. Our revisions include
the elimination of the previous height variance request, reduction of the shoreline setback from
28 ft of relief to 21 ft of relief, and reduction in permeability relief from 9.4% to 5.5% of relief.
The house foundation was moved 10 ft further back from the previous location and several
existing trees were shown to remain. A retaining was removed, and the middle retaining wall
shortened. Also, the existing driveway was revised to be constructed as a permeable driveway.
The proposed drywell was removed from the proposed site plan.
This submission includes (15 copies each):
• This letter which is to serve as a project narrative
• Revised Site Data Sheet
• Revised Drawings SP-1 through SP-5 with the latest revision date of 3/15/18
Please let me know if there are any questions or additional information required for your review
of this project.
Sincerely,
Thomas R. Center Jr., P.E.
