Dear Ms Moore:
As you are aware, our firm is local counsel for Cumberland Farms relative to the lighting
modifications that have occurred to the existing store at 110 Main Street. I am in receipt o your
email of March 26, 2018 relative to questions on my March 15.. 2 018 submission for this project.
Please be advised that I have the following responses.
1. The average foot candles for the proposed plan underneath the canopy is 53.4.
2. The approved canopy had an average footcandle of 29.83. See attached Lighting
Plan of Bohler Engineering dated October 24, 2 00 1.
3. The goose neck lighting that is currenay located on the front of the building along
Main Street and along the back of the building near the parking lot are proposed to
be removed aid replaced with wall lights. The specs for those wall lights are
enclosed in the March l 5,2,018 submission. See picture of exhibit goose neck lights.
4. To address the site plan of approved conditions with specs on the lighting fixtures,
plense see Lighting Plan of Bohler Engineering dated October 24, 2001 which is
enclosed herewith.
5, The goose neck lighting is being removed so the average foot candles summary does
include what is proposed. However,the approved plan did not reference the goose
neck lighting. Although I do not have specs on those fixtures I can tell you that their
foot candle is 12.66,
6. Decorative sidewalk lighting is included on the approved plan, see Lighting Plan of
Bohler Engineering dated October 24, 2001.
