Laura,
I am requesting a waiver from the storm water requirement for the proposed building addition as
the overall net increase of the building and paving hard surfaces is 2,591 square feet on a one acre
lot and the total of hard: surfaces is still below the allowable for the entirety of the lot. There is no
hard surfacingi taking place within 501' of the lake and all the stormwater from the existing hard
surfacingis currently unrestricted. All existing and new hard surfacing wilt take place via roof
gutters and drain leaders to each trenches which will outfall to vegetated swales outside of the 50'
setback from the lake and there will be a drywell structure added to the driveway to control run-off
that is generated by the driveway with an over flow of the drywell that will be directed to a vegetated
swale, on the west side of the existing building. It is our feeling that these measures will provide far
more efficient storm water management of the property than what currently exists on the property
and we are therefore requesting a waiver from the storm water requirement,
