Proof of publication was presented. Attorney Harold Katz explained that the property consisting of approximately 19 acres in the Gurney Lane area was formerly owned by Warren County and was unzoned since municipal property is im- mune from the zoning ordinance. He said there has been some con- flict in the various court decisions relating to such cases. A Massachusetts decision held that unzoned municipal property when sold to a private owner automatically becomes a part of the sur- rounding zone. It was noted that the Planning Board on February 4, 1970, had recommended the C-3 designation. Hammond Robertson read the clause on C-3 district. Supervisor Solomon requested a voice of opinion from any persons present either in favor of or in opposition to the zoning of the property. Mr. Robert J.
