WHEREAS, Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival has requested
authorization from the Queensbury Town Board to conduct its 12d' annual Lake George Triathlon to
benefit local organizations as follows:

EVENT Lake George Triathlon
DATE Saturday, September 2nd, 2017
TIME Approximately 7:00 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. (Bike Leg Portion)
PLACE Warren County Bike Trail and then Birdsall, Round Pond, Blind Rock,
Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside, Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads (map
delineating course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival to conduct the Lake
George Triathlon partially within the Town of Queensbury on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.
