WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 89,2011, the Queensbury Town Board adopted the
Warren County Pre-Disaster Multijurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (Plan) as this
jurisdiction's Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of
2000, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has reviewed the Plan and affirms that it will be updated no
less than every five (5) years, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to reaffirm its adoption of the Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby reaffirms its adoption of the
Warren County Pre-Disaster Multijurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan as this jurisdiction's
Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan and resolves to execute the actions in the Plan, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further affirms that the Plan will be updated no less
than every five (5) years, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to deliver a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Town Highway Superintendent, Facilities Manager and
Town Safety Officer/Fire Marshal, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor
and/or Town Clerk to take any actions needed to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
