WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Highway Superintendent has requested Town Board
approval to replace and trade in a 1999 Fermec 760B Backhoe(Town Asset No.: 3788) and purchase
a new 2018 John Deere 410L Backhoe Loader, and
WHEREAS,New York State Bidding is not required as the purchase is under New York State
Office of General Services Group 440625, Award 4PGB22792,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Town Highway
Superintendent's purchase of a 2018 John Deere 410L Backhoe Loader to replace a 1999 Fermec
760B Backhoe (Town Asset No.: 3788) in the amount of$112,370 from Nortrax in accordance with
New York State Office of General Services Group 440625, Award 4PGB22792, to be paid for from
Heavy Equipment Account No.: 004-5130-2040, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to
amend the Town Budget by transferring:
• $40,000 from Fuel Account No.: 004-5130-4410 to Heavy Equipment Account No.: 004-
5130-2040; and
• $72,370 from Undesignated Fund Balance Account No.: 004-0000-0909 to Heavy Equipment
Account No.: 004-5130-2040;
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Highway Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to take all such other and further actions as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
