NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF COURT ADMINISTRATION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Justice Court has advised the Town Board that
Justice Court Assistance Program (JCAP) Grant funds from the New York State Office of Court
Administration (OCA) are now available to provide funding to the Town for Town Court
improvements and construction and renovations to implement the Warren County centralized
arraignment program, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize an application for these grant funds up to
the maximum grant amount available,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor and/or Town Justices to apply for a Justice Court Assistance Program (JCAP) Grant up to
the maximum grant amount available, from the New York State Office of Court Administration(OCA)
to be used by the Town for Town Court improvements and construction and renovations to
implement the Warren County centralized arraignment program and take any further actions
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
