1968-10-24 i RESOLUTION NO. 225, introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Solomon. RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized to pay to Charlotte Codner, pursuant to the provisions of Section 103-a of the Decedent Estate Law, the salary due to Bernard J. Codner as Highway Superintendent in the amount of $300.00 less the necessary and proper deductions therefrom and be it further RESOLVED that the vacation pay also due to Bernard J. Codner be paid to Charlotte Codner. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes - Mr. Demboski, Mr. Turner, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Solomon. Supervisor Solomon greeted the following visitors: Mr. & Mrs. Bud Kuppelis - Visitor Mr. & Mrs. Ronald St. Germain - Applicant for Mobile Home Permit. Mrs. Juliette Ellingsworth - L.W.V. Mr. & Mrs. Pliney Tucker - Visitors Mrs. Sterling Akins - Visitor Thomas J. Flaherty - Super. Queensbury Water District Mr. Pliney Tucker spoke from the floor; with a question as to whether or not the ruling of the Hudson River Valley Commission has been received to do with the proposed land-fill operation on the Corinth Road. Supervisor Solomon stated that to date - the Report has not been received. The Clerk presented an application for aMobile Home Permit from Mr. Arthur Wells to locate a Mobile Home on Corinth Road. Councilman Robillard moved that the application be denied. Carried unanimously. Following discussion by the Town Board, the application of Ronald StGermain for a permit to locate a Mobile Home on Mountain View Lane was tabled for further study by the Board. 58 The following was received and placed on file: October 23, 1968 Town Board of Queensbury Town Office Building Bay Road Glens Falls, New York Gentlemen: Kindly be advised that Mrs. Joseph Mendalino has submitted her resignation as Republican Inspector from Election District 9, Town of Queensbury. Flaherty to attend the Water Utility Management School to be held at Cornell University on October 29th through November 1st. be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the necessary expense be and is a proper town charge Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Turner, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Solomon Noes: None RESOLUTION NO. 227 introduced by Mr. Robillard seconded by Mr. Robertson RESOLUTION TO DISAPPROVE APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO LOCATE MOBILE HOME IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY WHEREAS, Arthur Wells of Lower Maple Street, Hudson Falls, N.Y. has made application to this Board for a permit to locate a Mobile Home at property situated at Corinth Road, and owned by: Gerald Richardson, and WHEREAS, upon proper investigation it appears that the applicant i has complied with all the requirements of the Ordinance Regulations relating to Mobile Homes in the Town Of Queensbury, therefore be it RESOLVED, that there was no hardship shown on the original applica- tion, therefore be it further 54 RESOLVED, that the application of Arthur Wells be and is hereby disapproved and that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to notify Arthur Wells of the decision of this Board. Alden of R.F.D. #3 Luzerne Road has made app- lication in accordance with paragraph 2 (c) Section 4, of an ord- inance of the Town of Queensbury entitledORDINANCE FOR THE REG- ULATION OF MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside of a duly licensed mobile home court at property situated on Lots # 701-702 Indiana Ave. , and WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that said application complies with the requirements of said ordinance, and WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said application are sufficient to justify further consideration by this board, therefore be it RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned ordinance, the Town Board shall conduct a public hearing on said application on November 7, 1968 at 8:00 P.M. in the Queensbury Town l Office Building, Bay Road, and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give proper notice of said public hearing in accordance with the provisions of said ordinance.
