PETITION
TO: TOWN BOARD
TOWN OF QUEENSBURY
QUEENSBURY TOWN HALL
We, the undersigned property owners, residing on and owning one
family residential properties on Chestnut Ridge Road , present this
petition for the immediate and urgent consideration of the Town
Board of the Town of Queensbury,
495
It has been brought to our attention that Chestnut Ridge Road which
was originally planned to be strictly for one family residences
under an R-2 zoning classification, is presently classified as R-3
which would permit the construction of two family residences on
Chestnut Ridge Road.
It is the desire and wish of each of the undersigned that the Board
restore the original classification by immediately rezoning Chestnut
Ridge Road as an R-2 residential area.
We request your immediate action in rezoning Chestnut Ridge Road from
the present R-3 classification to R-2 which will restrict the erection
of any residence to one family occupancy.
The petition was signed by twenty-three persons.
A discussion ensued with Mr. Adams and the members of the Town Board
on all points of interest in the two catagories as to the R-2 and
R-3 zones.
