I would like at this time to make application for appointment to the Board of Assessors for the Town of Queensbury. I was the last elected assessor having been elected in November, 1959 after winning the Republican Primary and also being endorsed by the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party. While serving on the Board of Assessors, I attended four three-day training sessions in New York City, Buffalo, Syracuse and Albany. These sessions were conducted by the New York State Board of Equalication and Assessments and the New York State Department of Education. I served two years as secretary of the Warren County Assessors Association and had a record of 100% attendance during these two years.
