The meeting was called to order by the -Supervisor at 8:00 p.m.
Supervisor Webster greeted the following visitors:
— Thomas K. Flaherty - Superintendent of Queensbury.Water
LeRoy Phillips - Chief 'of Kice!
Randy Loutaine - Radio Station WWSC
Supervisor' Webster announced that only Regular Meetings on the
second and fourth Thursdays of the month will be conducted for a
time. Further Special Meetings will be used for work meetings
of the Town Board to accomplish details of planning and consideration
of 'reports and preparation of ordinances to be adopted. -

To the Honorable Town Board:
At the last regular meeting of Warren County Pomona Grange #53,
it was decided by vote of -the members that you should be notified
that we are opposed to annexation of any land by any adjoining
municipalities.
We sincerely hope that our thoughts will be of some significance
when the final decision is made on this subject.

A report was received that a request will be made- by the merchants
in the Queensbury Plaza for a permit to conduct amusement rides
during the time from April 3rd to April 18th, 1967. General approval
was advanced by all members of the Town Board that the permit wtll
be granted.
The order of Hon, Charles M. Hughes, Justice in the matter of the {
application of Clifford Witham and others against the Town- of Queens-
bury was received and placed- on•file.
Following discussion the Town Board agreed on the reduction of the
amount of the retainer being .-held for Skyway Construction Company,
the contractors on the constructiom of the Town Office Building
from 10% to 5%. A voucher will be presented for audit at an early
date.
The report of New Construction for January, 1967 was received and
placed on file. There were 9 reports received for the- month.

Florence McHlva3na of the Post Star visited the meeting at this time.
Supervisor Webster discussed a request that. the Town of Queensbury
enter into a county wide Refuse Disposal.
Councilman Robertson and Councilman Lampson appeared to ,be in
favor of the study,,

Councilman Beaty and Councilman Turner .spoke in opposition to the
plan. The final decision on the matter will take place at -a later _
date.
RESOLUTION NO. 42, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Robertson.
RESOLVED that the Audit of Claims as listed in Abstract #67.2
numbered #86 through .#87 inclusive and totaling $768.00 is hereby
approved. .
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes • Mr. $eaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster
Noes - None
On motion the meeting adjourned.

The Supervisor announced- the Public Hearing on the entering into
_ contracts with West Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Co. , Inc. and.
North Queensbury Volunteer Fire Co. , Inc. and Bay Ridge Volunteer
Fire Co. , Inc. for furnishing ambulance service within the Town of
Queensbury.
The Notice as published was presented and read by the clerk.
Supervisor Webster requested a voice from any persons present
either in favor of or against the signing of the contracts.
Mr. Clifford Witham spoke in favor of the ambulance service and
j spoke also of the tremendous service being rendered by all three
of the fire companies ambulances.
