RESOLUTION NO. 71, Introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Robertson.
WHEREAS, the highway construction program in tfie `Town of Queensbury
requires a. considerable amount of gravel and fill and sources
presently available are generally depleted and the purchase of
gravel by the yard is too expensive, and
WHEREAS, Avery- L. Missita and Loretta Missita have offered to sell
to the�Town of Queensbury a parcel of about 7.2 acres on the westerly
side of Big Bay Road for a price of $4,000.00 and the Town Superintendent
of Highways has reported to the Town Board that there is an ample
supply of good quality gravel on the property, be it
RESOLVED, that the Town' of' Queensbury purchase from Avery L.- Missita
and Loretta Missita for a price of $4,000.00 a parcel of. real property
located on thg westerly side of' Big Bay Road, containing approximately
7.2 acres, as gravel pit, and be it further
RESOLVED, that upon the approval of the title by the County Attorney
and upon delivery of a deed in form approved by the County Attorney,
the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized to draw a check on the
General Fund account in the amount of $4,000,00 in payment of the
purchase price of said property.

Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster
Noes - None `
RESOLUTION N0.- 72, Introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Lampson.
RESOLVED, that the Audit of Claims as listed in Abstract #67-4A and
iiumbeved #412, #413 totaling $238.00 is hereby approved.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr, Turner, Mr, Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster
Noes - None
