Flaherty - Superintendent of Queensbury Water _ LeRoy Phillips - Chief of Police Supervisor Webster declared the public hearing'open on the application of Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Naatz to locate a mobile home on Wisconsin Avenue, West Glens Falls, New York. ` Proof of Publication was presented by the clerk. The clerk suimnari:;ed tie original application. With no persons ip appearance inlfavor of or in` opposition to the granting of the permit, the hearing was closed at 8:10 p.m. The applicants were• assured that- the permit would be granted. The public hearing on the application of Beatrice &' Roland Mandigo to `— locatea mpbile home at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Luzern Road was opened by the Supervisor at `8:10 p.m. ` Proof of publication was presented by the clerk. The original application was summarized by the clerk. Following a- request for a voice from any person in opposition or in favor of the granting of the permit the public hearing was declared closed at 8:17 p.m. Mr. Mandigo was assured that the permit will be granted. Mr. Jack Hallinan was granted the floor. Mr. _Hallinan discussed the recently installed sign at a gas station at the corner of Aviation Road and Carleton Drive. A question was advanced as to when zoning will be established.iu the Town of Queensbury. Lengthy discussion ensued as to the possibility of control of construction of commercial buildings within the town. Mr. Edward Hutchinson spoke. on the effect of the acceptance of filing of - building permits as to the town ordinance within the Town of Queensbury. Supervisor Webster discussed the actual content of the building report which is to be filed within the Town of Queensbury. Mr. Hutchinson questioned they Ohftfi (YM Police as to speed control within the locality of Ashley Place and BroadacrestRoad. .194 C The minutes of the meeting of April 27, 1967 were approved. Notice and petition pursuant to Article 17 General Municipal Law having been duly filed with the Clerk of this court- on February 6,1967, Hon. Harold E-. Simpson, Hon. Harold E. Koreman, and Hon. Edward J. Conway, Justices of the Supreme Court, are hereby assigned to hear and report upon, the issues in the- above - entitled proceeding in accordance with the provisions of section 712 of the General Municipal Law, Gibson, P.J. , Reynolds, Aulisi, Staley and Gabrielli, JJ, concur. A petition was presented from Residents of Greenway North and Drive in the Town of Queensbulry as follows: WE, The undersigned, petition the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury to declare Greenway Drive Extension a dead-end, and not an access route to the Shopping Center. The above mentioned Petition was signed by 41 residents. Supervisor Webster statdd that the request has been carried out prior to the reciept of the Petition;. A report was made by Supervisor Webster to do with a meeting- of land- fill operators in Disposal Areas'to be held at Albany, N.Y. The Supervisor also reported on a request for an Ordinance- to demand the Fencing in of Swimming Pools within the Town. The Report of New Construction for the month of April, 1967 was received and placed on file. There were 27 Reports filed for the month. The Monthly Highway report was received by the Town Bard. "2 The total disbursments for The Monthly Supervisors ort was recieved0 the month were $73,989.91. The total Reviepts per the statement were $220248.00. The Monthly Reports of the Building Inspector, The Chief of Police and The Water Department were received and placed on file. Mr. J. Arthur Norton visited the meeting at this time. 1 9 All reports and communications were accepted and placed of file.
