WHEREAS, Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival has requested
authorization from the Queensbury Town Board to conduct its 13th annual Lake George Triathlon to
benefit local organizations as follows:

TIME Approximately 7:00 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. (Bike Leg Portion)
PLACE Warren County Bike Trail and then Birdsall, Round Pond, Blind Rock,
Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside, Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads (map
delineating course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival to conduct the Lake
George Triathlon partially within the Town of Queensbury on Saturday, September 1st, 2018, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.

I have reviewed the request to have the 13ih Annual Lake George Triathlon Festival Event on
Saturday September 111, 2018.
1 hereby grant my approval for the 13th Annual Lake George Triathlon Festival Event to be held
on the following roadways that are under my jurisdiction:Jenkinsville Road, Sunnyside Road,
Rockwell Road, Ash Drive and Glen Lake Road. Any additional roadways are not within my
jurisdiction and may need further approval.

Good Morning Supervisor Strough - Hope you are well. I am reaching out to you and the town of Queensbury
on behalf of the Lake George Triathlon Festival. We are once again seeking written proof from each municipality
(County, Town, City, and Village)through which the event passes indicating that the Municipality has no objection to our
event taking place. This written proof may take the form of a letter, resolution, email, or other form and is for our DOT
Permit 33A.
The Lake George Triathlon Festival takes place September 1st and 2nd this year. It is based in the Town/Village of Lake
George, but will utilize roadways in the Towns of Bolton, Chester, Horicon, Queensbury and Warrensburg.
We are seeking a resolution for use of some roads during the bike portion of the Lake George Triathlon.
Therefore, we would like to formally request a resolution to use the roads in Queensbury for our 13th annual
Lake George Triathlon taking place on September 1 st, 2018. The triathlon will consist of a swim, bike and run.
The bike course will travel on the following roads in the town of Queensbury - the Warren County Bike Trail,
Birdsall, Round Pond, Blind Rock, Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside, Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads. The bikes
will begin the course just after lam and should be off of the roads in Queensbury by 10:30am. A course map
with a cue sheet is attached. I have also attached a certificate of Insurance for the Town as well. Please let me
know if you need any other information.
