Supervisor Webster called the mpeeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
The Supervisor greeted-the following visitors:

Supervisor Webster announced the bid opening to supply and Install
Blinker Lights on the Aviation Road near the Queensbury Schools.. .
Proof of Publication was presented ley the clerk.
The Notice as advertised.was.not read,at this time.
Supervisor Webster requested any voice of question or complaint
. on the. "Specs" for the,work to be,accomplished.

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID AND AUTHORIZE CONTRACT
RESOLUTION NO*- 19&9 Introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Lampson.
WHEREAS, this board. has received bids to provide for a traffic y
signal_installation on Aviation Road at the vicinity of Queensbury
Public Schools, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the bid of
K, L. Nassivera in the amount of $2,485.00 is the lowest responsible
bid in accordance with the specifications, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the bid of K. L. Nassivera is hereby accepted and
approved and the Supervisor is hereby authorized to execute all
necessary papers and contracts to carry out this project.

Mr. Webster.
Noes - None
Mr. Richard Hoague was granted the floor. Mr. Hoague discussed
a "Slow Traffic" sign on Sweet Road and Montray Road, Town of
Queensbury. A request was also advanced by Mr. Hoague that
another "Slow" sign be placed at another location.
Mr. Albert Kacenas was granted the floor, Mr. Kacenas requested the
installation of signs to depict "Children Playing" on Montray Road.
Supervisor Webster. ,explained that signs of this type are illegal on
any Town Highways.
The minutes of the meeting of August 11, 1966 were approved..

I am.a resident of Assembly Point and have a complaint as to
the health-.conditions being:,vlalated by a neighbor.
We have a garbage dump being started in the rear field behind
his home. , ,.;This. is, drawing rats and *unkz already we ...have already
killed a rat that came from there and was amongst children playing
in the next yard.,
We also at the same place have a septic tank over flowing on
.land next door and -certainly gags into Lake•George.-f,
Next a drain tile has just been put into the lake beneath the
house._, o drain who knows what. I ,believe that this too is against
the sanatation law. , , , � . - r,
This property is located as follows: 1st, right off Assembly
Point Rd. , called Brayton Lane very next left off Brayton Lane and

Association will be held at Lido Beach Hotel, Long Island, New York
from September 18th through September 01, 1966,

I understand that attendance at said conference is authorized by
77-b of the General Municipal Law. I -Also understand that .
- reimbursement will be made by the Town for actual expenses incurred
in attending such conference, however a resolution must be passed
by the Town Board for ,the attendance by the particular Justice
of the Peace.
I; therefore, request that such a resolution be passed
authorizing me to attend the above conference,•

A letter was received and placed on file from the New York State
Division for Youth which announced an increase in State Aid for
the project.
Supervisor Webster discussed a request from the PineView. Cemetery
Commission to purchase a used pick-up truck which is owned by
the -Queensbury Water District. Following discussion general
agreement was reached -by the Town Board that the Cemetery Commission
could purchase the vehicle for a price of $50.00.
Councilman Beaty reported on telephone requests for immediate -action
on the part of the Town Board to enact an ordinance to control
outdoor burning within the town. Further discussion took place
on the possibility of eventually creating a system of town, wi.de
home garbage collection. :

A letter was received and placed on file from Mr. R. T. Abbe,
which expressed support for the zoning within the town which will
be adopted at a later date. G
RESOLUTION 'T'O AUTHORIZE ATTENDANCE AT CONFERENCE
RESOLUTION NO. ' 199, introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded--by Mr. Beaty.
RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to James A. -Davidson,
Justice of the Peace, to attend the conference meeting of the
New York State Magistrates Association, to be held .on September
18 through September 21, 1966 at Lido Beach Hotel, Lung Island,
New York, and that the actual and necessary expenses inured in such
attendance is a proper town charge.

WHEREAS, Audit #975 as approved under abstract number 66-8 dated
August 11, 1966 in the amount of $48.00, included and error in addition
in the amount of .20, therefore be it
i RESOLVED, that the amount allowed under audit #975 is hereby corrected
to $47.80 and that the total amount of abstract #66-8 is hereby reduced
