The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Webster at 7:30 p.m.

Attorney Robert Stewart was granted the floor. Attorney Stewart
submitted .a request for immediate action on the application of the
Lake George Trailer Park, for a permit `to locate a Transient Mobile
Home Court on the Farm to Market Road.
Supervisor Webster Stated that the opinion of the Town Attorney in
the matter could not be divulged at this time. The Supervisor
stated that it Is the . intention of the Town Board to submit the
problem to the Planning Board for their opinion on the futurestatus
of that section of the Town of Queensbury as to commercial development.
Mr. William Deuell was granted the floor. The following petition
was presented by Mr. Deuell which contained '30 signatures of
residents of Corinth Road.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Me, the undersigned, sign this petition in protest of the
application of Elmer C. Benn of Granville and Veronica Kingsley of
Luzerne Road to place their trailers in' the Hartman development,
Pinelle Road, Town of Queensbury, because we feel that there are
trailer parks available in this vicinity in which these applicants
could place their trailers, and we would like to see the new
ordinance enforced. We feel that there is no reason why exceptions
should be made pertaining to placing trailers on the Pinella Road.
Mrs. Eva Runnalls questioned the members of the Town Board as to the
present status of, the proposed zoning for the Town of Queensbury.
A problem was divulged to do with heavy trucking equipment being
parked on Main Street, West Glens Falls, New York.
Mr. Frank Usher was granted the floor. Mr. Usher questioned the Town
Board as to whether or not the petition as presented by Mr. Deuell
would control decision of the Town Board on applications for
Mobile Home permits in the area in time to come.

Mr. Jerry Thorne and Mr. "Bucky" Corlew, Deputy Highway Superintendent
visited the meeting at this time.

This signal: -
(1) Shall normally operate as a flashimg signal displaying
yellowindications facing north and south on Route US 9
and red indications facing east and -we-st on the parking
lot drives.
(2) May operate as a traffic control signal, as necessary,
when Storytown, U.S.A. is open for business.
(i) Vertical and right green arrows facing west and
vertical and left green arrows facing east on the
parking lot drives shall be displayed during
appropriate intervals. of the signal cycle.
The above action is to be effective X upon completion
This action provides for the installation, operation and
maintenance of Signal 27P in accordance with the attached
specifications.
Storytown, U.S.A. is to install, operate and maintain, or remove,
Traffic-Control devices in conformance with the Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices of the State Traffic Commission to complete
this action. It is essential that this office be proppely advised
of the date of completion. Copies of a completion noticethave been
enclosed for this purpose. One copy should be properly executed,
snowing date of completion, and returned to this office.

The Glens Falls Trades and Labor Assembly at its meeting Saturday
night voted to ask the Queensbury town board to appoint Herbert
Garrant, Thomas St. , town of Queensbury, as a member of its planning
board. Ij
Mr. Garrant, is president of the local machinists union aAd a delegate
to the central body. He is highly respected by both union and manage-
ment and we feel he would be a credit to the planning board.

A report was received and placed on file from the Chief of Police, ,
which listed the supposed possible violators of the recently
adopted Junk Yard Ordinance. t
.Supervisor Webster reported that a refund has been made to him
from the- Post Office Department in the amount of $30.00 for
postcards returned to -them as a surplus from the mailing by the
election inspectors in each of the four re-districted districts
within the Town of Queensbury.
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT DEED FOR TOWN HIGHWAY -
RESOLUTION NO. 239, Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by Mr. Robertson
WHEREAS, this board at its regular meeting 9/22/66 accepted deeds
to certain street in Old Orchard Subdivision, and described and added
these streets to the official Town Highway System, and
WHEREAS, the resolution of acceptance omitted mention of the -deed
from Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation to the Town of Queensbury
for that portion of Oakwood Drive and Wincrest Drive that crosses
property owned by said Niagara -Mohawk Power Corporation. `
RESOLVED, that the indenture, dated April 21, 1966, from the Niagara
Mohawk Power Corporation to the Town of Queensbury. covering portions
of the above mentioned streets is hereby accepted and approved and
the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to record said deed
in the Office of the Warren County Clerk.

Following discussion the Town Board is its entirety agreed .on Sunday
`— October 30, 1966 as the opening day for the recently' constructed
Town Office Building on Bay Road.
The Town Board proceeded to discuss the pending, Applications for'
permits to locate mobile homes in the Town of Queensbury; The
applications studied were presented in the meeting of September 8th,
action will be taken at a` later time this meeting.
RESOLUTION TO REAPPOINT PLANNING BOARD MEMBER
RESOLUTION N0. 240, Introduced by Mr_. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Beaty.
WHEREAS, the term of J. Arthur Norton, as a member of the Town '
Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury will expire ,on October 1 1966'

member of the Town Planning Board for a term of seven years, to
commence on October 1, 1966, and to expire an September 30, 1973,

Mr. Herbert Garrant questioned the Town Board. as to the procedure
of an individual to become a member of a commission in the Town of

Supervisor Webster explained that a normal way. to handle a request,
fox` an appointment would be to submit a request for appointment ffiy
letter, to the Town Board.
