Floria Morehouse The applicant s George Curtis Mrs. Lillian Gates The public hearing was declared closed at 7:50 p.m. Mr. George Curtis was. granted the floor. , Mr. Curtis ,spoke in favor of the Town Board reviewing the original application of Mrs. Veronica Kingsley to locate a Mobile Home on Pinella Road. A statement was forthcoming from Mr. Curtis that the objection on a petition recently presented. to, the. Town. Board were not from .the location in question. .Following the closing of the hearing as a result .of a cgnsensu&_af.__ _ opinions of the members of the Town Board it. was `resolved that the permit of Mrs. Floria Morehouse- would not be granted, PETITION To(The Town Board: . WHEREAS, Mrs, Floria Morehouse ,of 113 -River Street, Warrensburg, N.Y, , has ,made application in accordance with paragraph 2 (c) Section 4, of an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled: ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES and MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY;_*WARREN -COUNTY, `NEW YORK] _to locate a.,mobile,home outside of a duly licensed mobile home court at property situated LOt #13 . Big Bay Road, and 7§` WHEREAS, this town board has conducted.. a public hearing in connection with said application and has heard all persons desiring to be heard in favor of or against said application, and WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said application and at said public hearing not sufficient to authorize the issuance of the permit- requested- by said application, for the following reasons: Neighboring property owners objected for reasons of effecting property values in the area. There was not sufficient hardship shown on the application and, at the. public hearing, therefore be it RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned ordinance, the application of Mrs. Floria Morehouse of 113 River Street, Warrensburg, N. Carried unanimously. A letter was received and placed on file from Otto E. Kuhl of the office of Joseph A. Kestner, Jr. , the engineer for all Water Districts within the town. The letter discussed the ratings of the New York State Fire Insurance Rating Organization.
