1966-10-20 SP WHEREAS, this town board has conducted. a public hearing in connection with said application and has heard all persons desiring to be heard in favor of or against said application, and WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said application and at said public hearing not sufficient to authorize the issuance of the permit. requested by said application_, for the following reasons: Neighbgring property owners objected for reasons of effecting property values in the area. There was not sufficient hardship shown on the application and, at the public hearing, therefore be it RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned ordinance, the application of Mrs. Floria Morehouse of 113 River Street, Warrensburg, N. Y., to locate a mobile home outside a licensed mobile home court at -property situated at Lot #13 Big Bay toad, Town of Queensbury is hereby disapproved, and that the Town -Clerk-is hereby directed to advise Mrs. Floria Morehouse of the decision of this.board. Carried unanimously. A letter was received and placed on file from Otto E. Kuhl of the office of Joseph A. Kestner, Jr. , the engineer for all Water Districts within the town. The letter discussed the ratings of the New York State Fire Insurance Rating Organization. G SO Mr. - Herbert A.-Garrant and Mr. Bernard' J. Codner, Superintendent of Highways visited the meeting at this time. Mr. John B. Lynch of radio station WWSC was greeted at the meeting at this time. A lengthy discussion ensued on matters pertaining to the opening of the Town Office Building on October 30, 1966. = RESOLUTION TO AMEND AUDIT OF CLAIMS a RESOLUTION NO, 256, Introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by Nr'. Lampson. . . WHEREAS, Audit #1071 as approved under abstract ntpber 60-10 dated October 14, 1966 in the amount of $225.78, included one bill in duplicate to the Glens Falls- Post Company in the amount of $14.40, therefore be it RESOLVED, that the amount allowed under audit #1071 is hereby. corrected to $211.38 and that the total amount -of abstract.#66-10 is hereby reduced by the amount of $14.40. - • Duly adopted by the following vote: E Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster. - Noes - None RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE TRANSFER OF FUNDS RESOLUTION NO. 257, Introduced by'Mr. -Lampson, seconded by Mr, Turner. - - RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to transfer the sum of $10,000. from. the Highway Fund to the --- General Town Fund, said-ammount to be repaid to the Highway Fund as soon as such money is needed, and in any event prior to December 31, 1966.
