The meeting was re-called to order at 9:45 p.m.
Following the audit of bills by each member of the Town Board
present the following resolution was adopted.
RESOLUTION NO. -285, Introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Turner.
RESOLVED, that the Audit of Claims as listed in Abstract #66-12
numbered #1376 through #1471 inclusive and totaling $28,877.49
is hereby approved.
Duly°adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster
Noes - None
On motion the meeting adjourned.

The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m. `
Supervisor Webster greeted the following visitors.
Stephen & Marsha Gabriel - Applicant's for Mobile Home Permit
Harold Rathbun - Visitor
Juliette Ellingsworth - League of Women Voters

Mrs. Joyce Garb - Visitor
Nicholas Clemens - Visitor,

Thomas 'K. Flaherty - Superintendent of Queensbury Water District
Bernard J. Codner - Superintendent of Highways
Mr, Nicholas Clemens approached the Town Board with the expectation
that the concept plan on zoning would be presented at this meeting.
Mr. Clemens requested again that his property at 318 Ridge Street
be- spot zoned to allow hin to use same for business purposes.
Supervisor Webster explained that the concept plan on zoning would
be vresented at a later date.
The minutes of the meeting of December 8, 1966 were approved as
amended. Carried unanimously.
The town clerk presented the application of Thomas L. Newell and
Thomas C. Hack for a permit to locate a mobile home on Pinello Road.
The action on the applications was tabled until the applicants could
be contacted to assure the fact that a home will be constructed in a
reasonable length of time.

The Supervisor and membgrs of the Town Board discussed the aspects
of the plans to locate a mobile home on Glen Lake Road. The
The original application was presented recently by Stephen & Marsha
Gabriel.
Mrs. Catherine Daire visited the meeting at this time. *
Mr. Harald Rathbun spoke on the problem of granting a permit to
Stephen & Marsha Gabriel on a two year basis with the understanding
that the applicants will construct a home on the site.
RESOLUTION NO. 286, Introduced by, Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Lampson.
WHEREAS, Marie Purchla, as Receiver Iof Taxes and Assessments,
maintained an account in the Glens Falls National Bank and Trust
Company and on November 20, 19662 the date of the death of said
Marie Purchla, there remained a balance of $8,673.88 in that account,
and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has appointed Betty Eggleston as Receiver of
Taxes and Assessments to fill the vacancy caused by the death of said
Marie Purchla, and Betty Eggleston has opened an account in the
Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company in her name as Receiver of
Taxes and Assessments and the balance in the Purchla account=be trans-
ferred to the new account, be it
RESOLVED that Betty Eggleston, Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, be
and she hereby is authorized and directed to sign a check against the
account of Marie Purchla, Receiver of-Taxes and Assessments, in the
amount of $8,673.88 payable to the order of Betty Eggleston, Receiver of
Taxes and Ass�!sbments, and deposit the same at once in the new account
of Betty Eggleston, Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, in the Glens Falls
National Bank and Trust Company, and that The Glens Falls National Bank
and Trust Company be and it hereby is authorized to pay the aforesaid
check on the account of Marie Purchla, Receiver of Taxes and Assessments,
to effect the transfer hereby authorized and directed to be made.

RESOLUTION NO. 287, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Beaty.
WHEREAS Marie Purchla was elected Receiver of Taxes and Assessments
and the Town Board had fixed the salary for that office at $4,200.00
per annum or approximately $11.66 perda.y, and
WHEREAS said Marie Purchla died on the 20th day of November, 1966,
but had been paid her salary through November 15, 1966, be it
RESOLVED that the Supervisor be and he -hereby is authorized to pay to
the Executor of the Estate of Marie Purchla, deceased, the sum of
$58.30, as the salary due to said Marie Purchla at the time of her
death, less the necessary and proper deductions therefrom. r

RESOLUTION NO. 288, Introduced by Mr. Robertson,. seconded by Mr. Beaty.
WHEREAS, Stephen and Marsha Gabriel of 20 Terra Cotta Avenue,- Glens Falls,
New York, has made application in accordance with paragraph. 2 (c)
Section 4, of an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled
ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN
THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, ,NEWcYORK, to locate a mobile
home outside of a duly licensed mobile home court &V property situated
on Peter Hay's land in rear of his home on Glen Lake Road, and
WHEREAS, this town board has conducted a public hearing in connection
with said application and has heard all pt-rsonsx ae'str4ng to be heard in
favor of or agar Est` said application, ana-
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the fatt't �r+e'sented in said
application and at said public to authorize
the issuance of the permit requested byy1`sa-1d.Applicetfbn1 therefore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, the application of Stephen and Marsha Gabriel of, 20 Terra Cotta
Avenue, Glens Falls, New York to locate a mobile home-outside a licensed
mobile home court at property situated at Peter Hay' s property on
Glen Lake Road is hereby disapproved, and that the Town Clerk is hereby
directed to advise Stephen and Marsha Gabriel of the decision of this
board.

The Town Board expressed acknowledgement of the gift of the first
Christmas tree at the site of the Queensbury Town Office Building.
A letter of thanks will be forwarded to William, Joyce and Dorothy Mann
of R.F.D. #1 County Line Road, Town of Queensbury.
RESOLUTION NO. 289, Introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Turner.
RESOLVED, that the Audit of Claims as listed in Abstract #66-12A
numbered #1472 through #1482 inclusive and totaling $1,613.76 is
hereby approved.
