The following visitors were greeted by the Supervistor: Mrs. Douglas Luke - League of Women Voters Thomas K. Flaherty - Superintendent of Queensbury Water District George Smith -Visitor The public hearing was declared open at 7 :30 p. m. on the application of James B. Hamblin for a permit to locate a Mobile Home outside of a duly licensed Mobile Home Court. Proof of publication was presented by the clerk. The reading of the Notice was dispensed with at this time. The following persons appeared in opposition to the granting of the permit. None The following persons appeared in favor of the granting of the permit. None. The public hearing was declared closed at 7:40 p. m. Action on the granting of the permit will take place following further investigation by members of the Town Board. The minutes of the meeting of December 30, 1965 were approved. Carried unanimously. A letter was received and placed on file from Mr. Howard Crocker of the Department of Education of� the State of New York. RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE BIDS FOR ONE NEW I,566 FRONT END LOADER RESOLUTION NO. 19, Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by Mr. Robertson WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Highways has recommended the purchase of one new 1966 Front End Loader for use of the Highway Department °primarily for use at the town refuse disposal area, to meet specifications on file with the Clerk of this Board, now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk- be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause to0be-`published once in the Glens Falls--Times and (Resolution No. 19 - continued) the Post Star on or before January 10, 1966, a notice to read in substantially the following form: NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Queens- bury will receive sealed proposals up to 7:00 p. m. on the 20th day of January, 1966) at the Town Clerks Office at 95 Dixon Road, Town of Queensbury, to supply the Queensbury Highway Department with on new 1966 Front End Loader. A copy of the detailed specifications of the equipment to be purchased may be obtained during business hours from the office of the Town Clerk, 95 Dixon Road, Glens Falls, New York, or from the Queensbury Highway Department, 2 Aviation Road, Glens Falls, N.Y. Bids must be submitted in sealed opaque envelopes plainly marked 11FRONT END LOADER BID" and there shall be included in such bid the certificate as to non-collusion required by Section 103d of the General Municipal Law as the act and deed of such coarporation. The Town Board will meet in the library of the Queensbury Junior High School, 75 Aviation Road, Town of Queensbury, on January 20, 19662 at 7:30 p. m. at which time the sealed bids will be publicaly opened and read aloud. RESOLUTION TO SET COMPENSATION OF DEPUTY TOWN CLERK RESOLUTION NO. 20, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Beaty WHEREAS, due to the increase of business being conducted in the Town -Clerk' s office it is deemed adviseable to provide compensation for one deputy, therefore be it RESOLVED, that the compensation of Marion J.
