The public hearing was declared open by Supervisor Webster on the
application for a permit of Ida Mae Sprague to locate a mobile home
on Leo Street, West Glens Falls, New York.

Proof of publication was presented by the clerk.
Reading of the Notice was dispensed with at this time.
The clerk summarized the original application as presented.
Supervisor Webster requested a voice fromany persons in opposition
or in favor of the granting of the permit in question.
There were none.
Following a consensus of- opinion of the Town Board, Supervisor
Webster stated that the permit would be granted.
The public hearing was declared cldsed at 7:40 p.m.
Mrs. Florence Mcllvaine representing the Post Star visited the
meeting at this time.
The one-1_ng of the Bids for Cont-rnct_ #8, the Route 9 Water District,
was announced at this time.
The clerk presented proof of Publication of the advertisement of
the "Notice to Bidders".
The reading of the Notice was dispensed with at this time.
Supervisor Webster requested any voice on questions to do with the
"Notice to Bidders" or the specifications as prepared by the
office of Joseph A Kestner, Jr.
Mr. Roger Smith, representing Howard A. LaRose objected to the
fact that bids were presented after 7 :00 p.m.
The clerk proceeded to open and read aloud the bids -as follows :

Mr. Roger Smith Representing Howard A. LaRose withdrew his objection

Mr. Patrick Barr was granted the floor.
Mr. Harr stated that the property which was granted to Mrs, Anna Pelkey
to locate a mobile home is owned by him and -paid for in full.
Supervisor Webster discussed the apposition of neighbors in the
vicinity of the property owned by Mr. Barr. . The Supervisor stated
that t-he permit would not be granted.
Mr. Paul. Bishop visited the meeting at this time.
tfr. John Cashion approached the ToT,m Board again to endeavor to restrict
horse-back riding on the highway in front of his residence.
Mr, Cashion -stated that he intends to start legal action--to accomplish
his request.
Mr. Paul Bishop was granted the floor. Mr. Bishop discussed the
present problem of a cement :manufacturing company dumping waste
cement in a ravine on their property. With the fact that home
water supplies might be effected; the problem will be -presented to
the State of New York Department of Health for an opinion.

The clerk presented an application for a permit to locate a. mobile
home in the Town of Queensbury from William Welch, Sr. , 20 Newcomb
Street, West Glans Falls, New York.
A letter was received and placed on file from the Dunhams Bay Boat
Company, referring to obstructions In a- roadway- off.- Route 9L.
Mr. Walter Baker visited the meeting at this time.
Mr. Baker questioned the Town Board as to what restriction, are
contemplated to do with outdoor burning within the town.
Mr. Otto Kuhl representing the office of Water Engineer Joseph A. Kestner
submitted reports to date on the results of investigation to- find
to find greater water supply for the Queensbury Water Supply System.
Supervisor Webster reported on the recent investigations of active
Junk Yards within the Town of Queensbury. Operators have been inter-
viewed and compliance with the "Junk- Yard Ordinance" of 1966 is
expected from each operator.
A letter of instruction for handlin the "Hometown Beaufification Project"
was received and placed on file.

RESOLUTION TO NAME MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF CEMETERY COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 161, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Lamnson.
WHEREAS, Chapter 814 of the Laws of 1948 provides that there shall be
a Board of Cemetery Commissioners of the Town of Queensbury to consist
of three members appointed by the Town Board for three year terms to
expire on June 30 of each year, and'
WfiEREAS, it appears from the records of the Town Clerk that Charles
K. Denny was last appointed by the Town Board for a term which expires
on June 30, 1966, therefore be it _
RESOLVED, that Charles K. Denny be and he hereby_ is appointed a member
of the Board of Cemetery Commissioners of the Town of Queensbury for
a term commencing as of July 1, 1966 and to expire on June 30, 1969
