(QLQ, and 2) The Faith Bible Church Property consisting of approximately 69.22 acres located on Ogden Road and Division Road (also referred to as Riverside Park), which is owned by the QLC subject to a Conservation Easement in favor of OSI which OSI is proposing to transfer to the Town, and WHEREAS, OSI has prepared a Conservation Easement Assignment and Assumption Agreement regarding the proposed assignment of the Faith Bible Church Property, and WHEREAS, the Conservation Easement Assignment and Assumption Agreement is in form acceptable to Town Counsel, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves the Conservation Easement Assignment and Assumption Agreement between the Open Space Institute Land Trust, Inc., and Town of Queensbury regarding the proposed assignment of the Faith Bible Church Property substantially in the form presented at this meeting, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to execute the Conservation Easement Assignment and Assumption Agreement and any and all documents necessary to complete this transaction and take such other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. He and his crew, they are doing a great job. • Would like to see the triathlon date changed. Labor Day weekend is already very busy so it would be nice to see it moved to the weekend between the Car Show and Balloon Festival. COUNCILWOMAN ATHERDEN (WARD II)-Also, spoke regarding French Mountain and Rush Pond. • With regards to the Southern Adirondack for Solar Campaign, there will be an informational event this Saturday from 9:30-11:30am at the Queensbury Hotel. There are other events scheduled as well. One at the Lake George Brew House on 1043 State Route 9 on September 20th from 5-7pm, and the other will be held at the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor in Chestertown at 6339 Main Street on September 25th from 5-7pm. There will be two or three more informational meetings sometime in October. Dates and times will be announced as they become available. • SUNY Adirondack Library and the College's Sustainability Committee are sponsoring an environmental sustainability film series. The first film, "An Inconvenient Sequel" will be shown on September 18th at the Miller Auditorium in Dearlove Hall. COUNCILMAN FERONE (WARD III)- • Also has had very positive experiences with our new Highway Superintendent, Dave Duell. He has been very responsive and it is very much appreciated. • With regards to the Rush Pond and French Mountain Resolutions, the Board should be very proud. Queensbury has a good balance; we are very cognizant of protecting land within the Town but also very supportive of economic development.
