. Lane Allocation
Town Board
Town of Queensbury
Warren County .
Gentlemen:
A recent field investigation of the traffic conditions on
Route 9 in the vicinity of the Aviation Road - Quaker Road inter-
section in the Town of Queensbury, Warren County has been completed.
The investigation showed that in order to improve traffic
conditions in the vicinity of the above intersection, an adjustment
in the existing lani allocations would be desireable. The Traffic
Commission Order of March 7, 1962, of which the Town was sent a
copy, has been repealed, and new orders have been issued reflecting
the changes in the lane allocations. The major effect of these
changes is to designate the center lane of the three lane section
at the above intersection only for northbound traffic turning left
onto Aviation Road and only for southbound traffic turning left onto
Quaker Road.

Three copies of the new order are enclosed for the records
of the Town. The signs and pavement markings necessary to post
these regulations will be installed and maintained by the New
York State Department of Public Works.
