Rowland of R.F.D. #3 Luzerne Road, Glens Falls, N. Y, to 'locatc a mobile home -outside of a,licensed mobile home court, at property situated at R.F.D. #3 Luzerne Road, Glens Falls, N. Y. , And , that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to issue such permit in accordance with the terms and conditions of said ordinance. Harwood Beaty (absent) Councilman Theodore Turner Councilman Curtis Lampson Councilman Hammond@Robertson, Jr. Councilman The meeting was called to order at 7:30^ p. m. r Supervisor Webster announced the opening of Bids to furnish highway salt needs for the Highways Department of the Town of Queensbury. Proof of publication was presented, by the clerk. Reading of the Notice was dispensed with at this time. The clerk opened and read aloud the bids as follows: INTERNATIONAL SALT COMPANY A telegram was received and placed on file dated, November 8, 1965, which would, adjust the original quotation as stated in letter of November 5, 1965. The awarding of the contract for supplying the salt needs of the Highway Department was tabled pending study of the bids as received. The Supervisor presented his monthly financial report, which was placed on file. The Receipts for the month of October were - ,$3142206.77 The Disbupsements for the month of October were $170, 702.84 The report of New Construction for the month_ of-October, 1965, was received and placed on file. There were 11 reports received for' the month. RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CONTRACTS RELATING, TO Y_ E S PROGRAM -FOR" 1966 RESOLUTION NO. 264, introduced by Mr. Robertson,- seconded by Mr.° Lampson. WHEREAS, this board, by Resolution #249, dated October 28, 1965^ voted approval of joint participation in` the Yes program with the City of Glens Falls and the Village of South_ Glens Falls and authorized the -Supervisor to apply for State assistance under such program, _ RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized to execute contracts with the City of .Glens Falls, and the Village of South Glens Falls, to provide for the joint municipal sponsorship of the program, under which arrangement t)ie City of Glens Falls would be the disbursing municipality for all three communities: the Town of Queensbury would pay over to the City of Glens Falls the sum of $550.00 under the terms of said contract. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes - Mr. -Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster. Noes - None ° Supervisor Webster presented a resumee of the effect of the 1965 Special Census of Population on the per capita State Aid payable to the Town of Queensbury. Superintendent of Queensbury Water District, Thomas K. Flaherty, recommended the purchase of one new 1966 - 3/4 ton truck for use of the Queensbury Water District.
