QUEENSBURY EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK §208 "SEXUAL HARASSMENT"

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously adopted a Town of Queensbury
Employee Handbook(Handbook) delineating Town employee policies and procedures, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to amend its Handbook by replacing current §208
entitled, "Sexual Harassment"with a new Sexual Harassment Policy presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes an amendment to the
Town of Queensbury's Employee Handbook, §208 entitled, "Sexual Harassment" to replace the
current Sexual Harassment Policy with the new Sexual Harassment Policy substantially in the form
presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor's
Office to distribute copies of the new Sexual Harassment Policy/Employee Handbook amendment
to all Town employees and elected officials and take all necessary actions to amend the Employee
Handbook accordingly.
