The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p•. m.
The telriseelrig plans for the proposed Municipal Office Building
for the Town of Queensbury were studied at length by all members
of the Town Board. The plans receibed general acceptance, of all
board members,
The following- resolutions were read by the clerk:
RESOLUTION OF GOVERNING BODY OF APPLICANT

RESOLUTION N0- 37 introduced by Mr. Akins, seconded by Mr. Turner
Resolution authorizing filing. of application with the Housing and
Home Finance Agency, United States of America, for a grant under
the terms of Public Law 345, 84th Congress, as amended by the
Public Works Acceleration Act,
WHEREAS, under the terms of said public Law 345,, as amended, the
United-States of. America has authorized the making of grants 4"
to public bodies to aid in financing the construction of specific
public projects:
Now Therefore, Be it Resolved By Town Board of the Town- of Queens-
bury
1. That John 0. Webster be and he is hereby authorized to execute
and file an application on behalf of the Town of Queensbury
with the Housing and Home Finance Agency, United States Govern-
ment, for a grant to aid financing the construction of a muni-
cipal office building.

2. That John 0. Webster, Supervisor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to furnish such information. as the Housing and
Home Finance Agency may reasonably request in 'connection with the
application which is herein authorized to be filed.

RESOLUTION NO.. 38 introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Lampoon
Resolution . viding for increase in planned total expenditure for
capital improve projects.
WHEREAS, under. the ter'ms of Public Law 87-658, approved September
14, 1962, the United Sate's of America has .authorized the making
of grants to aid in financing construction of specific public
works projects, provided the proposed or planned total expenditure
of the public body for its capital improvement projects is increased
by an amount approximately equal to the non-Federal funds .required
to complete such public works projects:
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved By Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
1. That as of the date of filing of an application by Town of Queens-
bury (hereafter called Applicant) with the Housing and Home
Finance Agency, United States Government, for, a grant to aid in
financing the construction_of a municipal office building the
Applicant had a capital improvements . plan or capital improvement
budget for the fiscal year or years during which construction
of the proposed project is gxpected to. oceur; and that the total
expenditure for capital improvements in said plan or budget was
$ 0 for the fiscal year ending 12/31/63 and $ 0 for the.fiscal
year ending 12/3 ./64.
2. That, in the event that said Federal grant is approved by the
United States of America, said capital improvements plan or
capital improvements plan or capital budget will be isshereby
---increased by $54,000.for the fiscal year ending 12/31/63 and
$ 0 for the fiscal year ending 12/31/64 for a total increase
increase of $54,000. in the proposed or planned total expend-
iture for capital improvement projects (exclusive of Federal
funds).
3. That said increase in the proposed or planned total expenditure
for capital improvement projects is apporximately equal to the
non-Federal funds required to complete the public works project
for which the application is to be submitted.

Following a joint meeting, in the Town Hall of the Town of Moreau
with the representative of the New York State Bepartment of Health,
Mr. Edward Howard; the meeting convened at 9:30 p. m.
Mr. Joseph Kestner Jr. , the engineer on the proposed Water Supply
system was present at the meeting.
Mr. Webster reported to do with additional correspondence with the
Attorney for Cale Development Company and County Attorney Albert- E.
Beswick to do with the sale of the. Pineview Cemetery frontage.
The letter was read to the board at this time.
Mr. Akins suggested that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
should voice an opinion to the Warren County Representative in the
New York State Assembly, Mr. , Richard C. Bartlett. - to-do- with the
feelings of the residents_ of the Town of Queensbury, on the subject
of Motor Vehicle License. Fees being raised at this time. The board
in its entirety agreed that the above mentioned increase in fees
should not become a law.
RESOLUTION NO. 39 introduced by Mr. Akins, seconded by Mr, Turner
I RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be authorized and directed to prepare
a proper resolution 'to be forwarded to Assemblyman Richard Bartlett
and Senator Eustis Paine, stateing our opposition to the increase of
Automobile License fees for residents of the State of New York.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr, Beaty, Mr, Turner, Mr, Lampoon, Mr. -Akins and Mr. Webster.
