Mr. Ralph Nestle was present as a visitor. introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Akins. I LYMD, .,that permission is .hereby granted to Morris Zalutsky, the plumber for Finch Pruyn & Company, Glens Falls, Now York, to wake application to the City of Moon Full -for water service to lot , number 33 Lynnfield Drive; thereby,becoming a wator.customer. of the City of Glens Falls and that a qoPy of this resolution be forwarded to Finch Pruyn & Company and Morris Zalutsky and the City Water Board. Duly adopted by the following Vtet Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Tanner, Mre tampson, Mr. Atkins and Mr. Webster. Noes - None Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Warren County, was,�read by thw- clerk and placed on file. Al.kes, of Adirondack Waste Company, has made application for a ft l of the junk yard license for the year 1963' at 53 Luzern Road, and VMA S,, Robert Sanders, of R.F.D. #2, has made application for a renewal of',the Junk yard license for the year 1963 at the VaiDusen-Road locat .©n, and, WETF�REi1S, Morgan Keith Combs, of R.F.D. , has made application for`a renewal of the. junk yard license for the year 1963; at the Van Brien load location, and WIUREAS, all of these applications.have been accompanied by the proper _. license fee of $10.00 each (Total $40.00), therefore be it RESOLVED, that the renewal of the junk yard license of Leon,Dean, , I Alfred Aiken, Robert Sanders, and Morgan Keithi Combs, for`the year _ 1963, be and the same are hereby approved, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby directed to issue such renewal licenses and deposit the fees of $40.00 in the General Town Fund* Duly adopted by the following vote Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Hr.. It is definatly a fact f- that the mommut mentioned is the property of the Town of Qaeensbury. Opinions were voiced again on the decision of the handling the disposition �... of the fhade 'received from the sale of the frontage of the Pinegiew Cemetery. This money is at present on a Certificate of Deposit vith the Glens Falls National Bank do Trust Company. Mr. Akins presented a lengthy opinion which was placed on file pending future decision in the matter. On motion the Ming vas adjourned. Mr. ..CUarles K.: Denny, , a member .of the: ,Pineview .Cemetery Commission was present as a visitor, as were the r,fbl`loiag Mrs. .Hulda Ellingsw -orth 'Representat.ive League of Women Voters I4rs Marion Crannell Deputy Town Clerk Mr. Denny, questioned the board as to whether any decision had been reached to do with the possible distribution of the funds reali*od from the sale of the .Pineview_.Cemetery frontage. It was stated by the Supervisor., that a meeting will be arranged with the Cemetery Coi. sion., to. discuss any possible decisions as to the amicable solution to this problem. At ,e later date Mr. Denny- stated that the comf si+on ;are in hopes of providing a new building to house the equipment in use by the cemetery em- ployees and also afford a space for transaction of business. It is understood :that the ..Cemetery Commission has decided that a 25% share of the proceeds. of the sale of the property would be satisfactory on their part. Mr. Webster, iepo'rted on the result of the appointment with Dr. Eisenhardt of the Adirondack Community College, to discuss the offer of a site for the college which will be constructed E at a later date. A report was submitted by Councilman Beaty on the recent meeting with the Department of Equalizstion and-'Assessments at Albany. Samples of "sessments uaedAby ;the department were presented to Mr., Beaty for ,study.' The eomparision of actual sale of property is believed to be one of- the main differences which caused the Town of Queensbur_y to arrive at an equalization rate, which is not satisfactory.
