The reading of the notice to bidder s was omitted at this time. The Supervisor requested the presen ting of any further bids which had not already been received. Mx. Y. 5181,973.00 Following the readingf of each bid the three lowest bidders itemized bid was read.,fig),the engineer and placed on file. :fir. 3Pnnett was the spokesman the group from the Ridge Road, who were interested in the operation of the town dump. Lengthy discussion ensued to do with the burning of refuseas it has been done in the past. A suggestion was advanced, that if suitable dirt cover was provided and distributed over the dump,- the nuisance could be elimated. 1dr. Maille suggested the closing of the dump at hours when no caretaker was present. A fence with a gate was suggested by the group. Hours of closing the dump to the public was also discussed. A study of the layout of the land which is owned by the Town of Queensbury for dump was aired for the benefit of the Visitors. 44® Formal decision was reached that the supervision of the operation of the town dump, should be transferred to the Superintendent of Highways. A plan was advanced to provide an additional person to provide daily maintenance of the dumping operation. The covering of the dump with gravel will be increased with the intent of eleminating the fires which have been bothering the residents of the neighborhood. RESOLTUION NO. 91 introduced by Mr. Akins , seconded by Mr. Turner RESOLVED, that permission is hereby granted to Mr. 3urkich and Agatla 3urkich to make application to the City of Glens Falls , for water service to a commercial location on the .Aviation Road near Carleton wive intersection; thereby becoming a water customer of the City of Glens Falls , and that a copy of the this resolution be forwarded to B. M. Burlsic4, I3ox 45 , R. ;.t,. #2 Corinth, New York and. the City of .Glens Falls ,Water Board. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes Mr. Beaty, Tsars Turner, Ids. Lampson, IJr. Akins and Mr. irlebster. Noes - None Mr. Beswick, discussed the future, activity which will become necessary to continue with the signing of Contracts for Contract #3. The Attorney stated that the Bond Anticipation to do with the Queensbury Water- District will be ready to act upon at an early date. An extensive study of Contracts #4 and 4A was enjoyed with members of the board taking part. . On motion the meeting was adjourned. Respectfully submitted George C.
