The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P. M.
Visitors greeted were as follows:
0. B. True - In interest of a proposed. Commercial Development

Mr. B. J. Weeks Requesting water service on Weeks Road —
Mr. Frank Smith - Requesting water service on Weeks Road
Mr, Joseph A Kestner, Jr. - Engineer, Queensbury Water District
Mr. Warren Bennett - Interested in problems at the Town Dump
Mr. True, was granted the floor to present an explanation of the
plans for a commercial construction at the corner of Glen Lake
and Hall Roads, in the Town of Queensbury. A general discussion
ensued with all members of the Town Board.
Mr. Weeks and Mr. Smith, were heard with the question as to the
water supply which will be, available to them in the present
construct of the Queensbury Water District. A lengthy study of
the present North Glens Falls Water District was enlightening
to the visitors at this time.
Ms. LeRoy Phillips presented his report to the Town Board at
this time.

Complaints answered by this Department for this report are as
follows:
Vandelism 11
Dumping 9
Noise 2
Junk yards 3 _
We have given out 13 forms for building compliances.
One letter has been sent to a building violator.
We had one conviction on the dumping ordinance and two who
cleaned up where they had dumped _refuse on private property.
We did police duty at the little League parade, directing traffic etc.
A number of summinses were served for the Justice of the Town and
one Jury Trial was Policed.
The usual monthly reports to the State and Federal agencies are
being made regularly.
The department traveled approximately 350 miles.

Mr. Warren Bennett, of the Ridge Road, spoke on the present operation
at the Town Dump. Questions were discussed at length with all
members of the Town Board taking, part.
Mr. Kestner, spoke to the board on the subject of all the points of
connection with the supply main of the City of Glens Falls.
Mr. Bernard Codner, Superintendent of Highways visited the meeting
at this time.

A detailed report on all contracts of the Queensbury Water
District was offered by Mr. Kestner. The report on the resultts
of the two well systems which have proved to be ample for all
needs as anticipated in the system as - a whole was given by
the engineer. The color of the hydrants to be installed was
decided upon to be "Red". The findings of -the inspection of
the Pershing, Ashley, Coolidge sewer s ystem was discussed in
detail by the engineer.
Mr. Codner, recommended the accepting of the deed for Patton
Drive from Mr. Alton Bartholomew.
RESOLUTION NO. 113 introduced by Mr. Akins, seconded by Mr. Beaty
WHEREAS, Alton D. Bartholomew has requested the Town to accept a
deed submitted by Charlotte H. Carey and Albert E. Beswick, as
executors, to Patton Drive from Everetts Avenue up to a line from
the southeast corner of Lot 77 to the northeasterly corner of
Lot 70, and
WHEREAS, Bernard J. Codnerf Superintendent of Highways, has
advised this board that it is in the best interest of the
Town of Queensbury that this portion of Patton ,Drive be accepted,
and
WHEREAS, said deed has already been approved by the County Attorney,
Albert E. Beswick
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the deed of Charlotte H. Carey and
Albert ,E. Beswick be nad the same is hereby accepted and approved
and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have
said deed recorded in the Warren County Clerk's Office, after which
said deed shall be properly filed in t he office of Town Clerk.

Noes - None
A general discussion on -the closing hours for the Town Dump was
aired at lenght. A change in plans to allow opening on Sunday
afternoons as proposed by members of the Town Board. Action will
be taken if personn&IX can be secured to supervise the operation
of the dump during the hours suggested.
RESOLUTION NO. 114 introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Akins.
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has appointed a
Town Planning Board pursuant to the provisions of Section 271 of
the Town Law, and
WHEREAS, it is provided by Section 276 -of the Town Law that a
town board may adopt a resolution authorizing a planning board to
approve plats showing new streets or highways, subject to the
conditions set forth in Section 277 of the Town Law, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has heretofore
adopted an ordinance relating to t he approval and acceptance of
streets and highways in subdivisions, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury has met in
conference with the Town Board and has expressed its willingness
to undertake the approval of plats subject to the conditions of
the Town Law and the existing town ordinances relating to sub-
-- divisions, be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 276 of the Town Law the Town
Board of the Town of Queensbury does hereby authorize and empower
the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury-to approve plats

showing new streets or highways in the Town of Queensbury
subject to the conditions of approval provided by Section 277
of the Town Law and elsewhere, and subject also to existing
town ordinances relating to the development of subdivision s
in the Town of Queensbury.

PETITION FOR EXTENSION NO. 3 TO THE
PERSHING-ASHLEY-COOLIDGE SEWER DISTRICT
IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY,
NEW .YORK, EURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
ARTICLE 12 OF THE TOWN LAW OF THE STATE
OF NEW YORK.
TO THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY,
NEW YORK:
We, the undersigned owners of taxable real property
situate in the proposed Extension No. 3 to the existing ,Pershing-
Ashley-Coolidge. Sewer District in the Town of Queensbury, Warren
County, New York, hereinafter described, owning in the aggregate
at least one-half of the assessed valuation of all the taxable
real property in the proposed Extension No. 3 as shown upon the
latest completed assessment roll of the said Town of Queensbury
and being resident owners owning taxable property aggrggating
at least one-half of the assessed valuation of all the taxable
real- property of the proposed Extension No. 3 owned by resident
owners according to the latest completed assessment roll, do
hereby petition your honorable body to establish the following
described real property as part of the Pershing Ashley-Collidge
Sewer District as Extension No. 3 thereto.
ALL THAT PARCEL OF LAND in the Town of Queensbury,
Warren County, New York, being Lot No. 10 of Block
No. 6 as shown on a map of first subdivision Broad-
acres, Glens Falls, N.Y., filed in the Warren
County Clerk's Office November 3, 1926 and described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly side of Luzern
Place at the northwesterly corner of Lot No. 9 as
shown on said map; running from thence along the
northerly line of Lot No.9 a distance of one hundred
fifteen feet (1151 ) to the northeasterly corner of
Lot No.9 as shown on said map; thence northerly
along the westerly lines of Lots No.4 and No.3 a
distance of fifty-nine and eight-two hundreths
feet (59.821 ) to the southeasterly corner of Lot No.
11 as shown on said map; running thence westerly
along- the southerly line of Lot No. 11 one hundred
seventeen and thirty-five hundredths feet (117.351 )
to the easterly side of Luzern Place; thence south-
erly along the easterly side of Luzerne , Place seventy-
six feet (761 ) to the place of beginning,
and to provide a sewer main in such extension to be connected with
the sewerage disposal system of the City of Glens Falls as the
existing Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District is connected, and
to provide sanitary sewage disposal facilities in such extensions,
The territory hereinbefore described is w holly situate in the
Town of Queensbury, County of Warren and State of New,York, but —
outside of any incorporated Village or city.
This petition is accompanied, by a map prepared by Meyer,
Bowers & Ashley, Engineers, showing the boundaries of the pro-
posed Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer Dis-
trick and a general plan of the proposed sewer system to be con-
structed within the proposed Extension No. 3to the Pershing-
Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District. Such map and plan also show such
other matters as may be required by Section 192 of the Town Law.

within said proposed Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley-
Collidge Sewer Bistrict are benefited thereby and all property and
property owners benefited thereby are included within the proposed
Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley-.Coolidge Sewer District.
The maximum amount proposed to be expended for the improvem ent
in the proposed Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge
Sewer District is the sum of $700.00 which will be paid by
the undersigned, being the owners of all taxable real property
included within the aforesaid proposed Extension No. 3 to the
Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District, will pay to the Town of
Queensbury, Warren County, New York, the full amount of the cost
of the improvement upon the establishment of Extension No. 3 to
the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer -District, and the establishment
of Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley--Coolidge Sewer District
_ 'and the construction of the improvement therein will not result
in any debt to the Town of Queensbury.

Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District in the Town of Queensbury,
Warren County, New York, pursuant to Article 12 of the Town Law.
Whereas, a written petition, dated July 3, 1963, in due
form and containing the required signatures has been presented to
and filed with the Towa_Board.. of the Town of Queensbury, Warren
County, New York, for the establishment of Extension No. 3 to the
existing Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District in said Town to
be bounded and described as follows:

the mains within the existing sewer district, and
WHEREAS, the maximum amount to be expended for the
proposed improvement, including the cost of the main, engineering
and legal fees, as stated in said petition,, is the sum of $700.00
which will be paid by the petitioners, and the establishment of
Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District
will not result in any debt'to the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Glens Falls
has agreed to amend the existing contract between the City of
Glens Falls and the Town of Queensbury, acting for and in behalf
of the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge 'Sewer ,District to provide for the --'
disposal of the sewerage from the proposed extension at the same
rate per connection as provided by the present contract for the
existing sewer district, it is hereby
ORDERED, that a meeting of ' the Town Board 'of the said
Town of Queensbury, shall be held at t he Queensbury School on
Aviation Road in said town on the 25 day of July, 1963, at
7:30 o'clock, P. M., (DST) on that day to consider said petition
and to hear all persons interested in the subject thereof con-
cerning the same and for such other action on the part of the
Town Board with relation to the said petition as may be required
by law or be proper in the premises.

filed by the Supervisor. There were 31 new startings reported
for the month.
TO THE BOARD OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY:
We the undersigned, seven resident freeholders of such
Town hereby petition, in pursuance of Section 1622 of the
Vehicle and Traffic Law said Board to request the State Traffic
Commission by order, rule or regulation to establish a maximum
speed of 35 miles per hour with a "Slow Children Playing" sign on
a road as hereinafter described.

That such road is the southern most boundary of a
development known as the Reservoir Park District; that there are
living within said District approximately 100 school and pre-school
age children;.

hours, traffic flows up and down said road at a rate of speed
which endangers the safety of said children.
