The clerk reported to the Town Board that he had reported the above" mentioned complaints to Mr. H. Russell Harris the Superintendent of Publis Welfare for Warren County. A resolution was read and placed on file from the Warren County Board of Supervisors, requesting water supply for the Children's Health Camp, at Gurney Lame. Action on request will follow further negotiations with the County Board of Supervisors. Upon the suggestion of Supervisor Webster the board generally agreed that a suitable sign should be constructed and lettered to be placed at the sight of the proposed Town 'Viunicipal Building on the Aviation Road. Dawes Sales Representative A discussion to do with the abandonment of a part of Rockhurst Road, took place at this time. Following preparation of all legal steps by Attorney Beswick, the action to abandon will take place. Y.r. Leo Ball of Birch Lane, visited the Town Board meeting at this time. The question was advanced to the board as to the present status of the opening of Birch Lane to traffic. With the understanding that the 13 foot right of way has already been deeded to the Town the same will be accepted at an early date. The completing of the School Tax Statements has been accomplished at this time. A supplemental payroll will be submitted to com- pensate the extra employees needed to complete the statements at the proper time. Resolution No. 130 Tax Anticipation Note Resolution of August 29, 1963, for the Issuance of a Note of the Town of Queensbury in the amount of $500.00 _in anticipation of the Collection of Benefit Taxes in the Queensbury Drainage District for the Fiscal Year of 1963. Mr. Turner introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Lampson Be it resolved this 29th day of 4ugust, 1963, by the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, County of Warren and State of New York, as followst. 490 Resolution No. 130 - continued Section 1. That the Town of Queensbury, in anticipation of the collection of benefit taxes levied on real property in the Queensbury Drainage District levied for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1963, and pursuant to the Local Finance Law of the State of New York, shall issue and sell a tax anticipation note in the amount of $500.00 to mature on July 1, 1964, and that the date of maturity of such note shall not and does not extend beyond the applicable period provided by Section 24.00 of the Local Finance Law for the maturity of such notes. Section 2. That the amount of taxes levied for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1963, in the Queensbury Drainage Distr-ict rremaa.xiixW, uncollected against which such note is author- ized to be issued is as of the date hereof the sum of $564.13. Section 3. That, except as herein specifically stated said note shall be of the date, terms , form, contents and place of payment as the Supervisor shall determine and shall bear interest at the rate of three per ce.ntum per annum payable at maturity and shall be executed in the name of the Town of Queens- bury by the Supervisor and attested by the Town Clerk and the seal of the Town affixed thereto. Section 4. That the sum of $500.00 of the Capital Reserve Fund of the Town of Queensbury be invested by the purchase of the said tax anticipation note hereby authorized and that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transfer from the Capital Reserve Fund to the Queens- bury Drainage District account the said sum of $500.00 upon the due execution and delivery of said tax anticipation note. Section 5. The full faith and credit of the Town of Queensbury, Warren Counter, New York, are pledged to the punctual payment of the principal and of interest on said note. Section 6. Lehmann, his wife, for the purchase of a parcel of land. on West Mountain Road as a site for one of the storage reservoirs in the Queensbury Water District for a price of $500.00, and WHEREAS, the Town Board elected to exercise said option and George G. Lehmann and Jane E. Lehmann executed and delivered to the Town Board a warranty deed conveying said parcel, and John 0. Webster, Supervisor, on July 2, 1963, drew a check on the con- struction account of Queensbury Water District in the amount of $500.00 in payment of the purchase price, be it RESOLVED,; that the purchase of said real property for the - site of one of the storage reservoirs in Queensbury Water District -and the payment of the sum of $500.00 from the construction account of Queensbury Water District to George G.
